Some apps for the E75 and other symbian phones may come unsigned. To aid you in signing those without having to wait for it to get signed online I have put together a small tutorial on how to do it yourselves.

To aid you in signing those without having to wait for it to get signed online I have put together a small tutorial on how to do it yourselves.

Step1 Registration: Just follow this link to the OPDA forums http://www.opda.net.cn/index.php. Now look at the pictures to register if you have never registered on a forum before. For this you need basic English language skills.

Step 2 Get your .cer and .key: This step is the most important. You have to login at the apple for cer page of the forums using your previous created id and password. Get your IMEI and type into the IMEI fields, type the model of the phone and press submit. Your new .cer and .key will be available for download ASAP.

Step3 Hack: Get two apps from here: Signer(to sign apps on your desktop)&HelloOX 2.03(to hack your phone and not sign anymore).

After that sign HelloOx with the signer app and copy it on your memory card.

Launch HelloOx from there and wait for it to install. Launch the App and wait for it to do its thing, if while runnig this it stops or takes too long just hit cancel& restart phone. Run it again(woked for me).

This will install ROMPatcher , run it and turn on all options.

The E75 is no exceptions and offers quite a good internet speed over a sturdy connection.

I have been reading across the web how you can use your Nokia <a href="http://rover.ebay.com/rover/1/711-53200-19255-0/1?type=4&campid=5336265401&toolid=10001&customid=&mpre=http%3A%2F%2Fcgi.ebay.com%2FAll-New-Nokia-E75-Black-Unlocked-GPS-WiFi-3-2MP-QWERTY_W0QQitemZ110374870546QQcmdZViewItemQQptZLH_DefaultDomain_0%3Fhash%3Di"rel="nofollow"title="Buy Nokia E75" >E75 as a modem and I have seen some very complicating stuff. So I decided to do it myself and stop reading al that mambo-jumbo. Now here are the ingredients: Ovi Suite 2.0, a USB cable and the good old E75.

Connect your device to the computer and start de OVI 2.0. After that open tools and select connect to the internet. You have two options set up your connection manually or automatic, I went for the later. All you have to do is select your operator and your country. The rest is up to the phone and the Ovi Suite. The connection takes about 2 minutes and after the first it is done instantly.

So if you are away from home and you need a fast internet connection just plugin your E75 and take whirl at this fun tutorial.

While I was looking for a tutorial or a program with which to share my net connection with another laptop or mobile phone without using a wireless router.

I found the solution, without need to use any program but require some settings in Windows. All these settings take about 5 minutes. Time depends on your level of knowledge of Windows XP. I hope this helps.

Click Start-> Control Panel> Network Connections.

Right click on your cable connection and select Properties.

Select Advanced, then check Allow other network users to connect through this computer’s Internet connection and uncheck Allow other network users to control or disable this shared Internet connection.

Click OK and save settings made the connection.

Now click on the inactive wireless connection and choose Properties.

Click the Wireless Networks.

Select Add from the menu of Preferred Networks.

Give your network a name filling the field Network Name (SSID).

Check This is a computer-to-computer (ad hoc) network and then uncheck The key will be provided for me automatically.

The Network Authentication select Open and the Data encryption select WEP.

Now we need to set up a network password lest anyone enter it. Although this method is not safe, for one can break the password, if you live in an area where people are scarce this security measure is quite enough. Password to enter the Network key and Confirm network key is reintroduced.

Click OK to save the connection and then OK again.

Double click the wireless connection and select Refresh network list. When the network appears select Connect. Enter the password chosen in step 11 and select Connect again.

Search network on the phone, then select Start Web browsing and then enter the password when it is required.

Next steps are necessary only if no gateway reply error occurred. To remove this error some extra configuration is required. Select the wireless connection in Network Connections menu, right click and Properties.

Then select Internet Protocol (TCP / IP) and Properties.

Check Use folowing IP address automatically.

Enter the IP address: 192.168.0.1 Subnet mask to: 255.255.255.0 Default Gateway and leave the field blank.

In Preferred DNS you can type your own typing in Start-> Run ipconfig / all. If not then enter 192.168.0.1 go to Preferred DNS and Alternate DNS 192.169.0.2.

Click OK and again OK. Then follow the instructions in steps 13 and 14 to connect.

If you have questions you can ask them in the comments box found in the basement of this tutorial.

* This tutorial was completed, adapted from Symbian Guru.

I couldn’t even update to the latest version of firmware. Thus, I started looking for a solution; the fastest and cheapest one was to reflash my phone. If your E75 is branded and it is leggy or you can’t update the firmware then you can choose to do as I did. But, before you start, read the notes at the bottom of this post.

How I did it: First you need two programs Nemesis and Nokia Software Updater. The later you can get at Nokia’s official website nokia.com. However, Nemesis you can download it from HERE and the product codes from HERE. Now, follow this simple tutorial:

Connect your phone selecting PC Suite and open Nemesis. After you open Nemesis if there is an error and the software can’t detect your phone than it is time for a reboot.

In Nemesis click on the Magnifying Glass in the upper right corner.

Click on Phone Info and Scan.

Now, click on Read.

Under product code insert the product code of the region you want your phone to be reflashed. And tick Enable next to it.

And after these steps just click on Write and you can close Nemesis. DO NOT DISCONNECT YOUR PHONE!

Run Nokia Software Updater and update to the latest version .

That’s all folks.

* NOTE THAT THIS TUTORIAL WORKED FOR ME BUT I DO NOT HAVE ANY WARRANTY THAT IT WILL WORK FOR YOU. THIS MAY CAUSE YOUR PHONE TO BRICK DO IT AT YOUR OWN PERRIL.

**THE MUST BE FULLY CHARGED AND CONNECTED TO THE PC AT ALL TIMES DURING THIS TUTORIAL.
