Linux fans rejoice, Frozen Bubble goes Twisted. This game for Nokia E75 is based on the quite famous Linux version of Frozen Bubble. So if you are a Linux fan you can test this new game for free. This version of the game uses the accelerometer to control the arrow so just tilt and shoot. Keep in mind that it is still in the works and it may take some getting used to, especially because of the directional arrow.
The Frozen Bubble game is an arcade game in which you have to match three or more balls of the same color. It also features a time limit, or until the balls reach bottom half of the screen. The guys at AikonLabs have done it again, they have adapted one of the greatest games from the Linux platform to Symbian OS with accelerometer features.
Easy to play and with very few settings the game is known all across the world. Fun and entertaining this game can give you hours and hours of fun. It is not age restricted so you can enjoy it with the whole family.
Moreover, it doesn’t require the use of any directional key the twisted version features full accelerometer support. A trait that not many games for the Symbian platform seem to be lacking.
All in all, this a quite entertaining game although it needs some work done for the accelerometer feature. The arrow seems to be lacking in precision because it is moving to much. A bit less affinity to the accelerometer and it might just be perfect.
The Nokia E75 is the first Nokia Business phone with N-Gage capabilities and a built-in accelerometer, as you can see here in the Nokia E75 review. Although I have yet to test the phone myself, the new features are quite attractive and I can’t hardly wait for its release in my country. The release date for the Nokia E75 is late April.

The first question that pops in mind is “why on God’s green Earth would a business phone need games for?” Well, to answer that question I came up with a one word answer: “Boredom”.
Every now and again everybody likes to test out their phones and gets even more exited when they can play the latest games and have the latest features. In my opinion a business phone should have all the latest gadgetry available because you can never know what or where one might end up needing them.
If you get stuck in traffic on your way to work or on the road and you have nothing else to do, well, that is where the new gaming features come in handy. Accelerometer and N-Gage capabilities are the most awaited features on an E-series phone since the arrival of the E71.

The accelerometer is present for a much easier use of the phones sliding QWERTY keyboard and for improved gaming that doesn’t make your thumbs hurt. Let’s face it, who doesn’t find it fascinating that you can play games just by tilting your phone?

Although, Nokia has released plenty of phones with this feature, they have yet to create N-Gage games with support for it. I hear they are a work in progress and that we will be able to play more accelerometer enabled games once the much awaited N97 comes out this year.
With the same CPU as the E71 (ARM 11 369 MHz processor), the E75 can run the latest N-Gage games. Also, the 2.4″ QVGA disply with 16 milion colors gives a very good rendering of its graphics.
Without a doubt the phone is more than just a business device. It can quite easily be used as a way off passing time , or if you just want to test your skills.
