The EA Mobile Tetris game is a marvelous pass time game. The classic game of Tetris reinvented with style.
There is not much to say about such a game. Mainly because all of us have played the game in one form or another. Whether it was on a Tetris console or on your Gameboy this has been a favourite pass time in the last few years for most of us.
This new game has excellent graphics and is very easy to play. All you have to do is stay in time limit and make points by arranging the pieces to make a full row. Remember only rows count not columns. You can control your pieces with the keyboard by rotating them so that they will fit the gap.
Each time you complete a row it will dissapear and the following pieces are shown in your right side. You can even plan ahead for there are shown the following four pieces.
Dance Fabulous, published by Nokia, has been released on N-Gage. The first cross-services game by Nokia incorporates both a music and gaming experience and offers its players a new way to enjoy and listen to music. Through a collaboration between Nokia, Interscope Records and music legend Dave Stewart, Dance Fabulous also introduces a pioneering artist, Cindy Gomez, including a dancing Gomez avatar and her brand new songs.
Players of Dance Fabulous perform their own choreography and collect points by creating cool moves and dancing to the music. In addition to customizing their own avatars, players can mix and match between a variety of dance styles and dance sets and share their fabulous moves with friends and other players via the N-Gage Arena.
“Dance Fabulous is a music game where players can use any music they have stored on their mobile device and download more of their favorite songs from the Nokia Music Store,” said Mark Ollila, Director of X-Media Solutions, Media & Games, Nokia. “Dance Fabulous offers its players a unique experience, enabling them to share their own visual content – the cool dance moves and the new dance styles they have created – and showcases how playing together with friends, combined with other rich community features, makes mobile games an essential part of mobile entertainment offering.”
The Canadian Cindy Gomez is the first artist to make her debut in a mobile game. Dance Fabulous features five of her songs, including the debut single “Again & Again”. And it’s not just Cindy’s voice you hear echoing through the title – as well as recording unique songs for Dance Fabulous, Cindy’s motion-capture studio involvement brings her own dance moves to the game in appearance of her very own Dance Fabulous avatar.
Cindy Gomez‘s debut single “Again & Again” has been released in Nokia Music Store and has already made its way into the charts. Her debut album coming later this year will also be available for download in Nokia Music Store.

Since the E75 comes with N-Gage compatibility I thought that I should post a list of upcoming games. Some of these have been released but most of them are still in the development stages.
The game that I am looking forward is The Sims 3. I have seen a preview of the Sims 3 foriPhone and it looks amazing. The guys at Nokia have some serious competition. Let’s hope they don’t disappoint.
Anyway, here is a list of the upcoming games of 2009 for N-Gage:
Tired of the same old games here is an easy and fun one: Dance Fabulous. The game is for the N-Gage platform and, as you might have guessed, its a dancing one.
Unlike other games from its series this features stunning graphics (for a mobile game) and finger friendly gameplay. When I say finger friendly I mean that it doesn’t require a lot of buttons, just the middle one and your thumb (as shown in the video below). So you don’t accidentally press something else on the keyboard. Easy to to control and to play this one may turn out to be a hit.
You can also play your own tracks, which if you ask me, is best. I mean who wants to listen to their music anyway, each with its own. Also, the character creation in this game is very well done, much like the one in ONE. Have your own character dance its tiny virtual hart out to the music of your choice or compete with others.
Since sharing is caring, the producers of this game brought some interesting features in this department. You can share your best dance moves with others and more now you can take pictures of your dancers in photo booth Dance. Immortalize you sweet dance moves and show off in front of your friends.
To sum up, this is an awesome game and I for one can hardly wait its release. Better get your thumbs ready to shake your virtual booty to the beat. Here is a link to the games official site :http://dancefabulous.n-gage.com/
Now you can wreak havoc on your E75 with the upcoming Mega Monsters game. The game is a N-Gage game with good graphics and entertaining gameplay.
Mega Monsters, promises to be one the fun games for your E75. Destroy your surroundings and vaporize everything in your path. That is the main point of the game and that is all you need to know. There are different playable characters, five to be more exact. Each one is a different animal (five animals to be more exact), fact which looks to me inspired from Godzilla.
Go on a rampage and knock everything down. Pummel to the ground building after building and compete against friends. See who is the ultimate destroyer.
Controlling your mega monster is easy just rotate your animal and swing at everything that surrounds. Of course you can also upgrade and customize your character. Give them extra speed, power or even some extra moves. Each one comes with its signature move. And you can dress them to suit your needs or better wants. You can out baseball caps or shirts on your monster, make it unique.
This game reminds me of Black&White, in which you could choose a monster and stomp on your enemies, or throw them in the air… fun times. Anyway, back to the matter at hand, the game looks like it was ripped out of a manga comic book or out of a Hulk issue.
All in all, this game promises a lot and lets hope it doesn’t stop there. I can hardly wait for the final game to get released. Hope you all have a great time playing this one and stomp your way to through the game.
N-Gage games will be motion controlled and the first is Bounce Boing Voyage. You all remember the bouncing game, if not it is the one with the rolling red ball.
A classic made better with the new motion control technology, or at least thats what the guys at Nokia think. As you all know by now this technology is not as new as they may think. It has been around for at least a couple of years. So there is one question I would like to ask them, and may sound like a line from a Hollywood action film “What took you so long?!”
Here is another thing I do not understand, Nokia has just released their first accelerometer enabled game for N-Gage. So far so good, but what is the future for this platform? They have been announcing better graphics and advanced gameplay but nothing so far. The only game with decent graphics is ONE. And Sony announced a PSP phone, which means that besides iPhone, Nokia may have a new competitor on the mobile gaming market.
Nokia better come up with something soon, because they are loosing ground, fast. This technology is old and there are a lot of games for iPhone that use it, with have better graphics. Its time to step up.
Thebubblegames.com has a lot of great games with amazing graphics and unique gameplay. One of those games is Panda Manda, a quest game that uses the accelerometer to control the main character, which as you might have guessed is a panda.
Moreover, this game has stunning 3D graphics and runs smoothly on any 3rd edition device, but it is compatible with only a few of those. Because it uses the accelerometer to control the panda’s movement while playing a map. The game features three different modes of gameplay.
TheQuest is the one where you have to finish a certain quest to finish the game, basically it is the storyline mode. PlayMap enables you to play a hand-picked map of your choosing, whether it is one you created or predefined from the games database. Create Map is where you actually design your personal map to enjoy your panda’s movement, much like in any strategy game that has map creator built in.
The gameplay is very simple tilt your phone in the direction you want your panda to move, but be careful as it moves on a map from which he can fall down. When your panda falls from the map it is game over and you have to start from the begining of the level. The objective is similar to that of Pac Man or Nokia’s Snake , collect as many goodies or whatever as you must to complete your goal. However you have a certain amount of time to finish the game, so keep that in mind.
To conclude, Panda Manda is a great 3D Adventure game with stunning graphics and entertaining gameplay. Also it is accelerometer enabled so you don’t need any buttons to play it on your Nokia E75.
TheBubble Games Chicken Panic is an amazingly fun game similar to the Frozen Bubble. Although, it is similar it is not the same. The gameplay differs enormously and it is funnier than the later.
The game offers two game modes HISTORY and ENDLESS. The first game mode concentrates on a story, which I will let you discover for yourselves. As for the later, it is an endless campaign in which the only thing that matters is the high score. Match as many chickens as you can and score points.
As I have said before the game has a gameplay similar to the Frozen Bubble. What makes Chicken Panic different? Well it is probably the fact that instead of bubbles you have chickens. Which, by the way, after you match the colours they explode, instead of falling down.
Furthermore, instead of having one chicken and previewing the rest, you have eight chickens of different colors. Each chicken can be blasted upward or at a maximum degree of thirty on each side. Basically, you must have a strategy and always keep in mind what colors you have left and in which spot it is better to place them.
The graphics are exceptional and it is loads of fun for your brand new E75. Especially now that it has a pretty good graphics adapter, with the N-Gage capabilities. If you are looking for a game to give hour upon hours of entertainment that I recommend the Chicken Panic.
To sum up, the game has proven to be a worthy adversary for the Frozen Bubble. So, if you are wondering what to buy for your Nokia E75, than Chicken Panic is the answer. Plus I have just discovered another great game by Bubble Games that uses the camera technology I have talked about in my previous posts. But more on that next time.
In case you are wondering what game to play on your NokiaE75, now that it has N-Gage capabilities, then I would have to suggest ONE. This is a fighting game like Mortal Kombat or Street Fighter, but in this you have the option to customize your character.
One is by far, in my opinion, the most brutally entertaining game for the N-Gage. Whenever you get stressed at work and want to vent a little just pull out your E75 and bash some heads. This is an excellent game, with astonishing graphics and a lot of combos. The more you play it, the more you get caught in its web of fun.
Furthermore, it also features a variety of playing modes like story , versus, survival, training and multi-player. The multi-player is done via bluetooth. The game has a lot of customizing options for your character as well, so you can make it unique, and you can unlock further details as you progress through story mode.
The more you play it the more exciting it gets, the opponents get harder to beat, and keep in mind that there is also a ranking. If loose to much than you loose points but if you win then you gain points and move up in the ranks. Each competitor has a certain number of points according to your rank and his.
To sum up, One is a great game with marvelous graphics and uniquely entertaining gameplay. So if you are bored you can just beat your friends through bluetooth.
As I have promised in one of my previous posts, the HandWave App review, I will be reviewing a game that uses the same technology as the AikonLab Application. The only difference is that this one uses the main camera and is developed by eyeSigh Tech.
Playing this game on the Nokia E75 is easy and fun just flick your hand in front of your camera when you want to throw the ninja stars. The game also features a camera free mode just push the center button of your E75, when you want to strike. To enable the camera as the action button you have to select eyePlay. Vibration is also an option that you might consider, as the phone vibrates when you want to attack the enemy. Also, it features sound and music controls for the game.
Furthermore, the game is quite entertaining as it requires no buttons to play. It is a simple shooter game in which you have to throw ninja stars at other ninjas. The difficulty of the game increases along with your progress through the levels. At first the opponents are mostly static and they barely, but in the higher levels they also strike back. Not to worry though the game stays pretty easy. However the camera might not pick up all of your movements so do not worry the center button of your E75 might save you when in need, or if you just do not find the camera mode responsive enough.
To conclude, the game is fun and worthwhile, especially in camera playing mode. Although, some may find it annoying to flick the hand in front of the camera, give it a whirl you might enjoy it.
