UEFA dot com has launched an app with which you can follow your favourite team. The UEFA app is very usefull and fun with a neat interface.

You can follow your team within the Champions League and Europa League. Photos, calendar and results are available via this app. Also, you can use it for live coverage of the games that are in progress and keep track of the results your mobile.

Nokia Diagnostics

Nokia has launched a new app for the s60 V5 that I find quite interesting. Nokia Diagnostics was launched by betalabs and it is one of the most useful apps I have seen from Nokia.

This app is designed to run troubleshooting on the phones hardware and software. It determines whether your phone works in its optimal parameters. The first release is not for 3rd series Symbian but it is announced that it will come soon.

This first release has five test that it runs :

1. Network Coverage test
2. Internet connectivity test
3. Battery charger test
4. Loudspeaker &
5. Earpiece test

Hope that when it is released for the S60 V3 it has a bluetooth test for as we all know that is the most pressing issue with the E75.

tweeter mobile

tweeter mobile is an app for your E75 that shows the latest tweets from around the world. You can see your location, your friends locations and their latest tweet.

The app works very well it has little lag and a list view for those who are accustomed to this type of display. Graphics of this app very well crafted and has very nice animations also. You can trigger the menu from the menu button and you can set up your account from the my settings panel. After you login you can see your followers status updates and your following as well.

Fring with video from Skype

Fring just released a new version which includes video calling through your Skype account. This has been a long time coming and it is one of my favourite features.

Fring is one of the best IM apps put there and with the fact that it is absolutely free it makes it perfect for your E75. Now you can use this new feature on Fring to set video chats with colleagues and friends around the world while you are on the go. Share what you see with your loved ones and have them experience every minute.

TwitBreeze twitter client

TwitBreeze is a brand new twitter client with a very easy user interface . Made by Cascada Mobile this app for twitter is a very simple tool to display your latest tweets.

It doesn’t need a lot of settings because it has just three things you need to set up. Your account username and password, how many tweets would you like the app to display at any given time and if the app should display user photos or not.

TwitBreeze is a simplistic twitter tool for those who don’t care about design or graphics. You can retweet, send a message, find people or send a tweet with this new app.

With its lack of design this app can be used even on lower end phones that have Symbian 3rd. Which makes it accesible to the wider audiance that need an app to just tweet all day and do not care for graphics.

Skyfire Internet Browser

Lately I have been testing internet browsers for the S60 v3. And to my surprise Skyfire seems to be doing its job quite well. It is very easy to use and its desgin its simple and gives ease of access.

What is the most interesting trait is that it displays your embeded videos and you can play them just by clicking play. Just any other computer browser. Also it supports rounded corners CSS which most of the internet browsers for S60 do not have them built in.

Furthermore this tiny browser for your E75 is very fast. It uploads your site in a few seconds at most. You can view your wordpress blog in its full glory and you can actually even make a post from your mobile on the same user interface as your home pc or laptop.

However, nothing is perfect and Skyfire does have one trait I did not enjoy. When displaying your website it goes into a display mode that fits your whole content on the small screen. Thus some elements are not displayed in their correct order or are missing some of their page layout.

All in all,Skyfire gets a thumbs up from me and you should definitely try it. You can download it here: http://www.skyfire.com/

Fake Messages

Here is a neat app for you, when placed in an awkward situation or bored to death you can schedule an SMS via the Fake Messages app.

This app is great when are in tight spot and you don’t know how to get out soon enough. Just schedule the SMS in put the sender name, time of sending and select what the message should say and now just relax and wait.

At that exact time your phone will beep and a new text will be received saying whatever you wanted it to say. You can download this free app via the Ovi Store here
