Nokia E72 has started hitting the shelves of a store near you. Nokia announced this new device going on sale worldwide just yesterday.
The E72 is a great follow up to the E71, as we all know a pretty great phone. Plus it takes it all to the next level with a faster processor, a 5 megapixel camera and a optical navigation central key. The last feature will make browsing a lot easier as it will function as a touchpad on a laptop.
Here is Nokia’s official statement on this device:
Thanks to powerful email and instant messaging capabilities, Nokia E72 has all the makings of an essential business tool. Mail for Exchange and IBM ® Lotus Notes ® Traveler deliver a business-grade email experience. With Nokia Messaging you can mobilise your private email and your instant messaging service*. Plus, with intuitive typing and navigation via the QWERTY keyboard and Optical Navi™ Key, 5 megapixel camera, A–GPS mapping, extended battery life, and its stylish design the Nokia E72 is the definitive smartphone for work and leisure. Nokia E72 will be available in a number of markets globally by the end of 2009.
