This is the first post from this new section of the blog, and the reason I started this is because people need to know what are the major problems with the E75 and if there is a solution. Plus recently it came to my attention that the E75 may have a bluetooth problem.
If you have encountered this problem than please comment here, but if you could please state which country are you from. Also if have any other questions about the E75 or notice another malfunction please post it here.
I will try to answer your questions and come up with solutions to your problems.

For the single beep / short ring problem: Reinstalling the firmware solved the problem for me.
AS someone also mentioned above, I used to have 3 sensors. However after the reinstall two of them disappeared. Also, my barcode reader application disappeared. Any solutions.
Another frustrating problem: I have lots of mp3 files on the memory card. However, the music player reads only 100 of those. ALl files are accessible through the file manager and run normally.
Also, the 100 files it reads are different every time I do a refresh! I have tried formatting the memory card, reinstalling the firmware, hard reset.. Nothing seems to work.. Anybody can help me on that?

My e75 suddenly turned off but actually before that it was out of battery and then i immediatly charged it but it didnt even show that it was charging.Now i whenever i try to turn it on it wont turn on i need help!! I need to open it by today
I am facing mainly 2 problem with my E75 set.
1. Center button is flashing in every aroung 10 sec. like on off series bulb.
2. Battery life is very short.
pl advice.
When trying to install MfX application on my E75 it starts with installation, excepts everything but then error comes up – update error. Please help have updates the firmware

My E75 just switched off, battery fine – now when swithed on, there is a backlight on the screen, but nothing on the screen. HELP

That’s a setting that can be changed. It’s called a ‘breathing light’
Turn off as follows:
Menu,
Ctrl. Panel
Settings,
General,
Personalisation,
Notification lights,
Standby br. light,
Breathing light,
OFF

I have two problems with my E75
1. Cannot pair it with my Zumo 550 Sat nav
2. Lots and lots of times a day a:
“Select Connection” menu appears on the screen, weather I’m in standby, using the phone, keylocked, anytime…. asking me to select WiFi or vodafone internet.
This is REALLY annoying so if anyone can help I’d really really appreciate it.

@Wihan : the default E-Mail client 2.0.5 already has MFE installed, u just have to fill in your credentials. Hope this resolves ur problem

I have problem with my E75. People hardly hear me even though I speak loud. But when I am using bluetooth handsfree, people can hear me better. Already sent to Nokia Service Center but they said no problem with the mic. Anyone has similar issue? Could it be the transmission (antenna) issue?
I’ve been using my e75 for more than a month now. It works okay before. Now I can’t send sms messages, the messages i try to send stays in outbox. I changed the message center number given by the network provider incase i have accidentally adjusted it. Everyone else in our house can send sms, so it’s not the signal or network. Please help. hi, my problem is i cannot choose my own mp3 music to play for a msg, is it possible to play some other song instead of those the mobile wants?, and is there anything i can do to scrol down photos while they are open instead of back open back open…etc… would be pleased if replied back on my email, thanks
Hi, my main problems are:
1. The outbox icon on the top right corner won’t dissapear. I tried deleting everything from my outbox, it still won’t go away.
2. The backlight of the center button sometimes goes on.
3. The backlight of the keypads sometimes goes on. (is this normal?)
4. The WLAN sometimes automatically tries to find wireless connections

hey, i have a problem with the e75 and what happened is that when i turned on my phone it vibrates and then the screen goes completely black but the d pad light is still flashing…

The battery indicator on my new E75 has only 2 levels; it’s either 100% charged or totally flat. The shop I bought it from says ‘yes, it’s a problem – better just carry a spare battery at all times.’ I installed swiss manager for the battery indicator, but it seems to work off the original nokia data, so the effect is the same. Is nokia technology so bad they can’t install a battery indicator that works?
My (new) E75 has only ever had 2 battery indicator levels:
1) 100% fully charged
2) 100% fully discharged.
This is inconvenient and gives the impression of poor standards by Nokia.
The shop I bought it from says that’s normal for Nokia, so learn to live with it.
Is this problem capable of being fixed, or do I just ‘learn to live’ with Nokia’s poor quality control?

hi, just loaded all my outlook contacts onto nokia e75 but when i recieved a call is only shows the number and not the person calling even though the contact is saved in my contac list. anyone know how to fix this?
I had the same bluetooth problem all of a sudden where it was pairing but not connecting. Updated the software OTA and it’s started working again.
i just purchased the E75, and from the first use the cell phone is switching off without any reason and also sometimes the software freez. Anybody have a solution for that? why the phone is switching OFF without any reason? shall i upgrade the operation software? thanks for your help in advance.

I had this same issue and noticed that it occurred around the time I tried to send an email from my gmail mailbox. I deleted it and the icon disappeared

i have a new phone E75. but whenever i make any call, dont get any dialling tone heard either of ring going to caller or caller voice if it is picked up. plus i ve to turn on loudspeaker for hearing dialing tone and voice.

I have a small problem with the E75 (other than the ridiculously short battery life), every time i activate the GPRS the phone works fine for an hour or so and then suddenly it stops receiving calls.. i get service messages indicating that people are trying to call me but my phone is closed… any idea guys ?

I downloaded some games from the OVI Store. When I tried to install the game from the applications menu, it just cannot connect. Pls help!
I just got my e75 and i have got the same problem as Usama, the only difference is that my phone is 10days old and it shows videos and takes pictures at times. The other times, the camera shows the onscreen controls but remains black. When this happens realplayer doesnt show the pictures of videos but plays the sound.
Can someone help me with this? I do appreciate the anticipated help.

I have the same problem as 7. Hanny, the phone keeps asking me to connect to the internet via WiFi/Airtel Live (Service Provider’s free service) and other connections even if i don’t want to use the internet. VERY ANNOYING! if you find a solution please post here, i will check it soon, THANKS!

I’ve been using e75 for about 4 months now. My problem is when i open the gallery …its blank! Any picture or video i try taking just doesn’t save …someone help ,please!

I’ve found a ‘temporary’ solution for the gallery issue…i said TEMPORARY…open the camera >settings>memory in use and change it to phone…after that click a picture . Go to the gallery . You’ll find the last clicked picture there . Delete it and watch the magic happen! You’ll find all your previous photos and videos back in place! But you’ll have to keep doing this everytime you wanna check you pics. Sounds annoying? Nokia IS annoying! Get used to it!
I cannot have access to the themes in control panel. Whenever I try to access that, my phone gets switched off and restart automatically. Is that because of any virus. Kindly help me.

I am having problem in switching off my phone. I initially set a lock on the phone so everytime i open, it asks for a passowrd. But now this fails to appear and does not turn off when pressing the red (off) button. Has anyone experianced this? Please Help!!

my phone is a week old and i also have a problem with short beep ring tone and also the popping up of wlan looking for some or other network connection. My video also went dead and i had to switch my phone off and back on again. I also noticed that i cannot set my video to run for more than a minnute. After a minute it shuts off.
@Adele Did you find a solution to the backlight being on but no screen? I’ve just had the same for about a week now.

I have a similar problem like Reyes…….bt deleting my msn mailbox didnt solve it……nw wat occured the prblem is…….after i bought my E75 couple of days ago…..i transfrd all my contcts and messages from my n73……then default memory for my sms was phone memory….i changd it to mem card and quite naturaly the messages disappeared……and a message icon startd blinkin on the top right……bt i foolishly resyncd my messages from n73…….this tym my sms option says cant connect to mem. Card….default mem chagngd to phone mem…….i then deletd all messages and chngd option to mem card…….nw i cant find the messages that i syncd 1st time and the message icon continuosly blinks! Do any 1 have a solution??
I have a dual sim cards Nokia e75 cell phone but when all two sim cards are inserted either both don’t work or just one doesn’t (requesting that I insert sim cards while they are already inserted or displaying the “Emergency” message) although the cell phone is set on the dual sim mode. But when I insert any of them in another cell phone they work. And that is the evidence that these sim cards are in good condition. The cell phone was working normally, these two sim cards working independently for about a year and suddenly this malfunction occurred. Could you please provide any solution?

I took the E75 to local Nokia care but the problem has re-appeared after one snap.

i’ve been using e75 since last year.. will celebrate its first ‘birthday’ next week but last night the screen has started blinking and it blinks faster today. It happened after i tried to setup my corporate email (exchange). I managed to delete that email account but the screen couldn’t stop blinking. Please help
Need serious help! My phone constantly shows that the C drive is full and I should delete data. I have searched high and low over the phone and cant find data to the tune of 79MB that is taking up the space!! when i check memory usage, it show 79MB being used by “Others”. Anyone knows how this can be fixed??
