Have you ever left your phone unattended and it got stolen or just had your privacy invaded? Well, the guys at AikonLab have made an application especially for this type of situations: nAlertMe for Nokia E75.
nAlter Me is simple and easy to use, with an user-friendly design and very few settings required. Just install the application on your E75 and set your personal deactivation code.
The application uses the accelerometer feature of your phone, so when someone picks it up or just moves it a little the alarm starts. If the phone is not set in the right sequence the alarm keeps ringing until the user inputs the right sequence. It worked without any delay and the sound was quite loud so I could hear it from across the apartment.
Furthermore, I have personally tested this and it works wonders. At first I did not know at what it might need use, but then I just left the phone unattended. When someone picked it up after a few seconds it started ringing and scared the person handling it.
Why use buttons when you can just rock n’ scroll your way through the menu and applications? KEYnetik.com are on their way to make buttons obsolete. Everything is just a flick of your wrist away.

Rock N’ Scroll is an application that uses the accelerometer feature of your phone. No keys, no touchscreen required, just tilt or flick the phone according to what one might want its phone to do.
The application is quite useful especially if your fingers are dirty and you don’t want to smudge your screen or your keyboard. Scrolling and playing songs has never been easier. If you don’t like the song, just flick the phone and change the tune.
Ever get stuck in a long meeting and your phone kept buzzing, but you could not answer?… Well, MobiSophy made the perfect answering machine. Now, everyone can just leave a message after the beep with Phone Pilot.
The Phone Pilot application is not only an answering but a powerful tool that supports call divert, SMS answering and personalized profiles. I personally have been testing this app on my E51 for almost 6 months now and I am very pleased. Before, I had to always send busy tones and I would forget to call back, now I just listen to my audio messages.
But, there is something you should keep in mind, not everybody knows the difference between voicemail and an actual answering machine. Personally, I had to state in my message that this was an answering machine and not voice mail. The difference between them is that the later is a service from your network operator that both parties pay for. You pay when you listen to the message and the caller when he leaves the message(at least in my country that is the case).
The Phone Pilot works as if you would have actually answered your phone, but instead the application answers and plays your welcome message. It then records what the other person has to say, without any extra charges to your phone bill.
All in all, the Phone Pilot is a very easy to use application with a friendly interface. However, as I said before, not many people can actually make the difference between an answering machine and voice mail.
Phone Pilot is available for 19,95$ at Handango and it works for the future Nokia E75 and any other S60 3rd Edition, like E51.
I could be here making a review of Nokia E75, I could be comparing it to other phones like Nokia 5800 or Nokia E71, but let’s save that for another time and let’s look at what is missing on Nokia E75, let’s review the missing keys that would make Nokia E75 perfect.
Recently I have been thinking about what useful features the Nokia e75 should have had to make it perfect, as there is no perfect phone because each and very one of us have different taste in phones. Whether it is the design or the tiniest feature everybody wants a specific type of model.
The features are what make a phone different from one another, apart from its unique design of course. No two are alike, one has this the other has that. Whether one uses it for business or leisure here is a list of features that the E75 is missing and ought to have had
As I was googling the web today for recent news about Symbian phones, I came across a piece of news on symbian-freak.com about a new and interesting Nokia concept phone: The E97 ENVELOP‘.

Designed by Fabien Nauroy, a young design artist from France, this new innovative design is quite breathtaking. With its neat and glossy appearance the E97 is more a work of art than a reality. The technical specifications of the phone have not yet been revealed and I think it is best that they don’t, because that way everyone can use their imagination and creates more suspense.
The Nokia E75 is the first Nokia Business phone with N-Gage capabilities and a built-in accelerometer, as you can see here in the Nokia E75 review. Although I have yet to test the phone myself, the new features are quite attractive and I can’t hardly wait for its release in my country. The release date for the Nokia E75 is late April.

The first question that pops in mind is “why on God’s green Earth would a business phone need games for?” Well, to answer that question I came up with a one word answer: “Boredom”.
Every now and again everybody likes to test out their phones and gets even more exited when they can play the latest games and have the latest features. In my opinion a business phone should have all the latest gadgetry available because you can never know what or where one might end up needing them.
If you get stuck in traffic on your way to work or on the road and you have nothing else to do, well, that is where the new gaming features come in handy. Accelerometer and N-Gage capabilities are the most awaited features on an E-series phone since the arrival of the E71.

The accelerometer is present for a much easier use of the phones sliding QWERTY keyboard and for improved gaming that doesn’t make your thumbs hurt. Let’s face it, who doesn’t find it fascinating that you can play games just by tilting your phone?

Although, Nokia has released plenty of phones with this feature, they have yet to create N-Gage games with support for it. I hear they are a work in progress and that we will be able to play more accelerometer enabled games once the much awaited N97 comes out this year.
With the same CPU as the E71 (ARM 11 369 MHz processor), the E75 can run the latest N-Gage games. Also, the 2.4″ QVGA disply with 16 milion colors gives a very good rendering of its graphics.
Without a doubt the phone is more than just a business device. It can quite easily be used as a way off passing time , or if you just want to test your skills.
The new Nokia E75 has just arrived and I think that it is a step forward for the E-series franchise. Gifted with the latest gadgets from Nokia, it is a great follow up to the E71. Of course, it is not an E71 with a slide, it is much more than that. The Release dates for this Nokia E75 is different depending on the country, but it is now for pre-order at Nokia.
DESIGN. The three colors that the Nokia E75 come in are: brick red, black and light brown. Light and slim, it is only 139g, although it features a never before-seen sliding full-QWERTY keyboard.
