Nokia and Check Point Software Technologies announced that the later has just completed the acquisition of the Nokia security appliance business. Thus Check Point assumes full ownership of the business. This was initially scheduled on 22 December 2008.

 The two companies have been working together for almost twelve years and that this is the culmination of their partnership. More on this on the Check Point site.
