New Nokia E-Series Concept Phone

By Alex C | April 5, 2009

As I was googling the web today for recent news about Symbian phones, I came across a piece of news on symbian-freak.com about a new and interesting Nokia concept phone: The E97 ENVELOP‘.

Designed by Fabien Nauroy, a young design artist from France, this new innovative design is quite breathtaking. With its neat and glossy appearance the E97 is more a work of art than a reality. The technical specifications of the phone have not yet been revealed and I think it is best that they don’t, because that way everyone can use their imagination and creates more suspense.

Futuristic, to say the least this model looks it plucked out of a sci-fi movie. But, so did the 5800 with its 3.2″ touch screen, if you would have heard about it ten years ago. Modern day technology has exceeded my expectations time and time again. But still, the tear-off screen is a bit much for the resources we can muster these days. Not to mention the fact that this phone is actually a dual-SIM phone, as one can see in the pictures below.

Although it is a gorgeous design, the ENVELOP’ may never be more than just a designer’s dream, as there is no news from Nokia about the phone actually being made. And if it was being produced any time soon, I think it would probably be the most technologically advanced phone that the world has ever seen, so far.
